Who is Kingdom?
Kingdom is a “no drama” family-friendly competitive raid guild on the Project 1999 Green server. We aim to be highly competitive at all end-game raid content wherever and whenever we have the force and the drive from our members. We believe the heart and soul of Kingdom are our members. We focus on helping our members experience the nostalgic rush that Project 1999 provides across all content whether questing, crafting, raiding, or exploring. As a guild, our members have and will continue to achieve momentous individual and collective goals all within the confines of the server Play Nice Policy and never at the expense of our members’ health and well-being.
We welcome those who are willing to work together and genuinely be kind to those inside and outside the guild alike and believe this harmony will unify and truly strengthen our overall resolve. Our members now and shall always consist of both hardcore and casual players, always understanding there are times when the real world demands our attention.
Kingdom is a raiding progression guild and expect our players to participate in raiding activities or contribute to raiding in other facets.
Therefore, raiding is a requirement to join Kingdom; however, we support casual and group gameplay lifestyles within the guild. We expect that if you choose to raid once becoming a member with us that you bring a raid-calibre effort and at a minimum are attentive, respectful, and willing to learn.
Kingdom believes in a “servant-leadership” type mentality. Appointed officers/leaders are placed in a position to serve and help the members. We have a very talented and knowledgeable base of players. Members are not expected to know every trick, and we realize many may be experiencing Norrath for the first time or playing a class and role that is new to them. Members are expected to support new players wherever/whenever available, to take an active role in their class, and to seek out strategies that will help lead to the overall success of Kingdom. We believe that at the heart of success is the willingness to learn and, thus, encourage curiosity and for our members to always seek advice and guidance from our veterans and leaders.
Lastly, Kingdom has strength in a diversified member base. Members with different personalities, experience levels, individual goals, languages and styles, and play times drive our success and our ability to maximize our achievements. We ask all members to be stewards of the Guild, respectful towards one another with different backgrounds and beliefs both within and outside of the Guild guild, and to always follow the Kingdom Code of Conduct as you make the most of your time with us in Norrath.
Why should you look to join us?
- If you want an organized group to level and quest with that has been here from launch.
- If you want to relive or experience for the first time winning top-tier classic raids (Lady Vox, Lord Nagafen, Innoruuk, Cazic Thule) through a knowledgeable and driven member force.
- If you want a guild that treats you respectfully as a friend and family.
- If you know “it’s dangerous to go alone.”
- If you want a lively and social experience at any hour that fits your play time and style.
- If you want a guild that is a representative of the “good” in the community we have, who will look out for not just it’s members but the community as a whole.
- If you want to share a part in shaping the cultural direction of the server through one of its most passionate voices.
- If you want strong and active leadership that is willing to adapt and grow with its members.
- We welcome players of all backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences (neckbeards and the clean shaven alike).
Kingdom was established at the onset of Green, flourished through the golden age of Teal, and has gone on to achieve many server-firsts and shaped much of the server culture and policy you see today. We are a guild of EQ veterans and first-time players that dominate top-tier content while championing ethical conduct. We are looking for skilled and respectful people who want to tackle end-game challenges in a fun and competitive environment.
We are competitive but also seek to be a positive force on the server, treating other guilds and players with respect. We are not looking for people who skirt the rules or push the boundaries of the rules. We value camaraderie over pixels.
If you are looking for loot at any cost, we are not the guild for you.

The Duties of Leadership:
Officers and Leaders serve the members by maintaining the day-to-day operations of the guild. This is a full-time and thankless job and as a result, relies heavily on the efforts of all members to be attentive to the needs and directions of Leadership. The reward for earning the trust and respect of the members is a fruitful wage. The leadership and member relationship within Kingdom is completely reciprocal. Leadership helps shape the policy that adapts to the developing content, member goals, and serves the best interest of the guild as a whole. It is expected that the members trust the leadership in their decisions and allow for adjustments to the strategies and policies of present. We believe that this ever-growing relationship between leaders and members will allow Kingdom to thrive as we grow with one another. The tasks of recruitment, raid preparation and execution, event coordination, DKP management, conflict resolution, UN negotiations, external communications, and many many administrative duties all fall on Leadership. Officers and Leaders are held to the same Code of Conduct standards members are.
During a raid, what an Officer and Raid Leader says goes. Kingdom must work as one unit to successfully secure a goal, and the time to debate a strategy is not during a raid. A Raid Leader is responsible for understanding their raid force’s strengths and weaknesses, both individually and collectively. A Raid Leader must remain calm and collected and turn difficult decisions into clear directions knowing it will not always make every member happy but will collectively bring Kingdom closer towards its current goals.
Raid policies required from members may be found here.
Code of Conduct
The Three Core Principles:
1. All members must follow the P99 Play Nice Policy
Anyone found breaking these rules and any server violations will be subject to the guild corrective action policy. As one of the top raiding guilds on the Green server, our members should work to maintain a good reputation and treat others with respect. Engaging in external drama about internal guild matters is not acceptable in any form or forum.
2. “Don’t be a Dick!” Even when you are right, it’s not always the best action to take.
If this is not clear to you, I’m not sure what to say.
3. People before Pixels.
There is a person behind that character. Remember they are wanting to enjoy the game as much as you are. Remember that they may be having just as bad a moment as you are. Don’t add to that. Be a force of help in the game. Be positive. Help others, and they will help you. Work with others, and they will work with you.
